First look at SS '13

petitePARADE: the event

Sweater weather has barely arrived, but true fashionistas know it's never too early to think ahead. Take a peek at spring as presented by petitePARADE.

More than 30 children's boutique brands and designer labels previewed their Spring/Summer 2013 collections during petitePARADE's October runway event.

Timed to coincide with the NYC trade shows where children's wear buyers shop the SS '13 collections for their stores, this year's event offered two days of shows, including solo showcases from Pale Cloud, Bonnie Young, Baby CZ, La Piccola Danza, Imoga and Mischka Aoki.

Swarovski Elements sponsored a multi-label show that included customized commercial outfits embellished with crystals from Caramel Baby & Child, Halabaloo, Inca Girls Swimwear, Joe's Jeans Kids, Lamantine Paris, Lily Pulitizer and Ooh! La, La! Couture.

Italian designer labels Monnalisa, Monnalisa Chic, Jakioo, Hitch Hiker, Miss Blumarine, Aston Martin, Sarabanda, Ki6?, NY&LON and Silvian Heach hit the catwalk for Showroom 21's show.

Presented at Industria Studio on Jane Street in collaboration with Vogue Bambini magazine, the petitePARADE event also included kids' designs from Floatimini, iNTAKT, Kissy Kissy, Liv & Lily, Mali Kids, Millions of Colors, Olivia Rose, Pimalinda, Snopea, Stella Cove, Umi Shoes, Zutano, Stride Rite and childrenswear design graduates of Parsons The New School for Design.
