Can't get any sweeter than the candy-colored confections from Chichanella Bella, a new swimwear collection designed out of Townsend, Delaware. Yet founder/designer Cara Lewis avoids a sugar rush by incorporating a vintage vibe with ruffles, flowers, polka dots and stripes. The nostalgic look of her one-piece and two-piece designs are enhanced by modern details, like lettuce edging and shearing, and thoughtful touches, such as hand-rolled rosettes and snap bottoms for easy swim diapering. These stylish details keep the collection from veering into costumery.
